Happy Friday!


We had a great week in room 132, and I have a couple things to share with you. 

FLIPGRID Parent Homework

I LOVE that some parents have already completed the homework assignment I sent out last night! I can't wait to show your children next week. Please try to complete this for them this weekend.  They will LOVE seeing your faces and hearing your words of encouragement!  Here are some directions to complete your homework assignment. Feel free to share it with anyone that is important in your child's life. It will take you less than three minutes!!!

Once you log on, click on the Green Plus Sign.  Record your video by clicking on the camera.  Once done, click next.  Add a picture by clicking on the red circled camera.  Then you can have fun and add stickers to your picture.  Finally, click on the green arrow, add your name, submit, and you are done.  😊


Poetry Notebook
Next week we have our first Poetry Theater. This is a fun event, where we share poems, dances, songs, etc with other Tropical Students.  We will be performing the "Friendly Letter" song. It is in your child's Poetry Journal, please remind them to practice it. This time Poetry Theater is for students only.  We will have one in December, and parents will be welcomed! Don't worry. I will record it!!!

Graded Papers
Today graded papers went home in the "take home" side of their green folders. Please go through them and if any are stamped, please review them with your child, and sign and return them.

Halloween
Tuesday is our Fall Harvest and Halloween Parade. The parade starts around 8:45.  I believe it is in the bus loop.  We will have some fun activities in the classroom from 9:15-10:00.  Please send a change of clothes, as your child will have the opportunity to change after specials.  If you signed up to volunteer, I will send you an e-mail with further clarification sometime this weekend.
