Rock Star Update 10/16/17

Today the newsletters for next week went home. You can find it here on the website. Due to it being a short week, we are not doing a new story next week. 
New Green Folders
The green folders that our lovely PTA provides are wonderful but I am seeing that the majority of my rock stars need to be a bit more organized.  This weekend I am going to prepare green homework folders for them.  This folder will have a place for everything and will help them get more organized. I have used folders like this for the past five years, and I think you will appreciate them as well.  So the current green communication folders will disappear, but I promise you'll appreciate the new ones! 😊
Field Trip
Monday is the field trip. We will have lunch in the classroom before the field trip. Please remember to pack your child a lunch, and perhaps a snack as we will be eating lunch about an hour earlier than usual.  I will have animal crackers to pass out if they like those! 
Your rock star can "dress" up for the field trip as we are going to the theatre, or they can rock jeans and a comfortable shirt like I will!
