Math Test/Spelling Quizzes

Good Morning, 

Tomorrow will be the Math test for Chapter 7.  Please review the material that is sent home today to prepare for it.

For the remainder of the year you will not have to review Spelling words at home in preparation for a weekly quiz.  I have decided that they are not an efficient use of time, and that time can be used for other things!  The story of the week will continue to go home each week with spelling words on it, because I have already made copies for the remainder of the year. 
The end of the year Reading test is 5/8 & 5/9, please use this extra time per week to study for that test.  There are resources available online to help you prepare your child for it. It is the criteria for promotion to second grade. http://1egan.weebly.com/reading-comprehension-passages.html
